Abingdon Theatre Company rang in their 32nd season with their annual gala last Monday, October 28th at the Edison Ballroom. Stars came out to celebrate Abingdon’s 32nd season as they honored longtime board member, Emmy, Olivier, and six-time Tony Award-winning producer Jim Kierstead.

Taking on the roles of young lovers Anthony and Johanna, Fisher and newcomer Maria Bilbao star in Sweeney Todd alongside such names as Josh Groban, Annaleigh Ashford, and Gaten Matarazzo.

Expect a wave of emotions throughout this performance: empathy for Sweeney (Groban) and Mrs. Lovett (Annaleigh Ashford) with their songs of vengeance and longing, "My Friends" and "By the Sea"; desire with the quartet's vocal counterpoint performed in "Johanna (Act 2 Sequence)"; laughter with the duet's performance of "A Little Priest."
